Borderless is an upcoming student-run literary magazine, in partnership with the South Asian Student Union at UCLA, dedicated to showcasing the vibrant voices of the South Asian diaspora. We are on a quest for content that unveils the untold and intimate narratives of our relationships with South Asian culture, away from the epicenter of it all.

By embracing the intricacies of the plentiful cultures within South Asia, and shining a spotlight on how these diverse traditions are preserved and adapted across the globe, Borderless aims to cultivate understanding and unity within the diaspora. We celebrate the fluidity and intermingling of identities, cultures, and ideas within the diaspora. We recognize that the diaspora experience is one of constant navigation, negotiation, and redefinition. "Borderless" signifies our desire of breaking static notions of South Asian culture, and exploring the consequentially vast landscape of narratives.

We aspire to provide a platform that empowers emerging talents. We encourage submissions from individuals of all backgrounds within the South Asian diaspora, and from South Asia itself, fostering inclusivity, authenticity, and respect.

Be a part of the inaugural issue of Borderless as we embark on this exciting literary adventure. Join us in illuminating unique perspectives and celebrating the extraordinary richness of our global community. Together, let us create a space where the hidden stories of the diaspora can find a voice and inspire generations to come.
